Ms. Caroline Abramo is a seasoned Commodity Executive with over 13 years of experience investing in commodities infrastructure. She possesses extensive expertise in various financing vehicles, including offtakes, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), tolling, credit, derivatives, and blended finance structures. At Carlyle, Ms. Abramo arranged a $1.5 billion CLO book of trade finance loans and organized private equity and debt financing for renewable and traditional energy projects. During her time at Lazard, she served as Portfolio Manager for a $15 billion Real Assets portfolio, focusing on energy, agriculture, and industrial sectors. Additionally, Ms. Abramo is an owner in a sustainable finance platform under Kimura Capital. Throughout her career, she has held prominent positions at BNP, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank, where she was recognized as a top investment banker. Notably, Ms. Abramo pioneered public-private partnership models for climate initiatives. She is an active member of the Edison Electric Institute, Ceres, the U.S. Endowment for Forestry, and Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose® (CECP).
